Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board recently announced the sale of its stakes in UK airports to Macquarie Asset Management. This follows earlier agreements to sell its shareholding in Brussels Airports to Flemish public investment company ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen, and its Copenhagen Airport interest to Danish investor Arbejdmarkedets Tillægspension.
Altitude (an Infrata company, part of dss+) has provided support to Ontario Teachers in relation to the disposal of its stakes in Copenhagen, Brussels, Birmingham, and Bristol airports.
Charles Thomazi , Senior Managing Director, Head of EMEA Infrastructure & Natural Resources at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Europe) Limited commented:
“Altitude made a valuable contribution in support of the transaction. They developed timely, high quality vendor due diligence analysis and outputs, reflective of the team’s sector expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the assets.”
