Acquisition of Glasgow, Aberdeen & Southampton by Ferrovial / MEIF

Ferrovial Aeropuertos and Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4 (MEIF4) have recently completed their purchase of Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton airports.

Altitude provided detailed traffic, commercial and technical due diligence for all three airports which included:

• Detailed analysis of the air traffic markets for each airport.

• Analysis of segmental historic financial performance.

• Development of detailed long term traffic, financial and capital expenditure forecasts.

• Assessment of airport infrastructure requirements and capacity of key airport processes to meet the traffic forecasts.

• Production of a detailed due diligence report.

The 100% acquisition had an enterprise value of £1,048m and closed on 18th December 2014.
