AMP Capital, on behalf of investors in its global infrastructure equity platform, has agreed to acquire 100 per cent of Leeds Bradford Airport from Bridgepoint Advisers Limited.
Leeds Bradford Airport is an international airport serving the cities of Leeds, Bradford and the broader Yorkshire area, with four million annual passengers. Altitude provided detailed traffic, commercial and technical due diligence for the acquisition process which included:
Detailed analysis of the air traffic market.
Analysis of historic segmental financial performance.
Assessment of airport infrastructure requirements and capacity of the key airport processes to support the traffic forecasts.
Development of detailed long term traffic, financial and capital expenditure forecasts.
Production of a detailed due diligence report.
The 100% acquisition has a reported enterprise value of £220m and is scheduled to close by the end of 2017.
