Vinci Airports finalises acquisition of the Airports Worldwide portfolio

On August 29th, Vinci Airports announced that it had completed the acquisition of the airports portfolio held by Airports Worldwide. This portfolio consists of 8 airports, including Orlando Sanford (USA), Liberia (Costa Rica), Belfast International (UK) and Stockholm Arlanda (Sweden).

Altitude has provided due diligence support to Vinci on this transaction. Our role included developing traffic, aeronautical revenue and operating cost projections for each airport. Key issues analysed included airline development, airport competition, economic regulation, government taxation and benchmarking of operating efficiency.
