On May 14th, VINCI Airports completed the acquisition of a majority shareholding (50.01%) in London Gatwick airport, the UK’s second-largest airport. With this transaction, VINCI Airports has become the world’s second-largest airport operator with over 240 million passengers a year including 46 million at London Gatwick.
Altitude provided traffic and business plan due diligence support to VINCI Airports throughout the transaction process. Our role included developing detailed short term and long term traffic, aeronautical revenue and operating expenditure forecasts across a range of scenarios
